  • Morning Routine: Start the day with a mild cleanser to remove dirt and sweat, followed by a moisturizer containing SPF to protect from UV exposure. Choose a non-drying formula, especially since athletes shower frequently during the day​.

  • Midday Refresh: After practice or events, take short, mild-temperature showers to prevent the skin from drying out. Air-dry if possible and apply a light moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated​.

  • Evening Routine: Incorporate shaving and exfoliation into the evening routine, as the skin heals best overnight. Cleanse the skin thoroughly and apply a targeted moisturizer or after-shave treatment to prevent irritation.

  • Handling Breakouts: Athletes are prone to breakouts due to sweating. Keep the skin clean throughout the day, and use non-comedogenic products to prevent pores from clogging​.
